Are you familiar with the IPA?

The IPA stands for the International Phonetic Alphabet. When you want to learn a language, you want to speak that language. When you want to speak a certain language, you should know how to pronounce each word of that language. As English in not a phonetic language, it is especially important to get familiar with the IPA. 

There are dozens of different IPA letters in English. There are hundreds of grammatical rules. And there are tens of thousands of words and phrases. So it should be a good idea to learn the IPA first. HERE are good videos about the IPA for American English.
